Is Meghan Markle Enjoying the Royal Life Spotlight?

Meghan Markle has received a lot of negative press as a royal and this has often made a lot of people wonder how much she must be enjoying her life in the spotlight. Markle is definitely no stranger to the spotlight, she was an actress, popularly known for her role in the TV series ‘Suits'. However, even as an actress, Megan did not receive as much attention as she has since she married Prince Harry in 2018. Meghan's marriage to the prince made her one of the most famous women in the world, and a lot of people are curious to know how the duchess is handling her new fame.

Hardly a day goes by without seeing news about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and while a couple of these reports are positive and harmless, the duchess has equally suffered a lot of negative press since her May 2018 wedding and even prior.

The most lingering bad press is the row with her family. With some members of her family constantly granting interviews and feeding public speculations about her being ‘too stubborn'.

The press has also released multiple reports about Markle's supposed inability to fit into the royal family. A lot of Youtube videos say she has been unable to follow royal traditions. There are also countless rumours about alleged altercations and disagreements with members of her staff as well as Kate Middleton and Prince William.

The duchess has lived all her married life including her pregnancy under scrutiny and criticism, some of which seem rather unnecessary. For instance, Cheatsheet reports that when Megan had her baby shower, the British tabloids accused her of being a "diva" despite the fact that baby showers are common in her home country.

And as a new mum, she was recently criticized for the way she held her son. One commenter said, "She doesn't know how to hold her child; she is wrestling and uncomfortable, on the verge of dropping him." Another said: "Why can't she hold the baby properly after two months? It looks weird. Clearly, the nanny looks after him most of the time."

Meanwhile, according to Lucy Shrimpton, The Sleep Nanny and parenting expert at The Baby Show, quoted on Express UK, there was actually nothing wrong with the way Meghan was holding baby Archie. Shrimpton said she believes that the way Megan held the baby was actually the ideal way to hold a new baby.

A lot of people, who watch the Royal family, have reported that Megan may have reached a "breaking point" because of all of the negative press.

It comes as no surprise therefore, that the couple has decided to raise their son away from the press. They announced when he was born, that they had chosen not to give the baby a title, preferring to let him live as a private citizen unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton who are regularly seen in public with their three children.
