Ribfest goes perfectly in downtown Ottawa



It was an amazing day to be on Sparks Street in downtown Ottawa.  The Ottawa Ribfest welcomed eight champion ribbers from across North America to showcase the best of the grill and sauce.  These incredible specialists competed for Ottawa's coveted "Champion Belt" in Best Rib, Best Chicken, Best Sauce, and Best Team/In Show!

This three-block BBQ competition was open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Other exciting foodie favourites were also be on hand.   The weather was just right this Sunday for amazing barbeque.  I was particularly partial to the cornbread from the Camp 31 competitor based in Alabama.
