Patient Wished They Had Never Seen Dr. Tenenbaum – Terrible Doctor
Dr. Jerry Tenenbaum’s negative attitude towards patients has been an issue that is almost about to get out of hand. This is a doctor who apparently has simply refused to change even after the numerous reviews posted on RateMDS.com by patients who had the opportunity to interact with him in his consulting room.
“This is the one doctor I wish I had never seen. He originally gave me a dx back in 06, but failed to help me manage said dx. He chalked it up to me being overweight (he wasn't exactly a healthy weight, either!) and, even after losing all of my excess weight and doing a total lifestyle overhaul, I am still in constant pain. He didn't do anything to help me manage the pain levels. He only suggested I 'get more sleep' but refused to help me with that. As somebody that still struggles with chronic insomnia, getting 'more sleep' isn't always attainable! Thankfully, I have since found somebody with considerably more empathy, who has actually helped me with my pain issues. 8 years after dealing with this "doctor" and I'm finally seeing some progress!" – A review left by a patient in Victoria.
For someone to behave in such a way after passing through the rigorous processes needed to become a medical practitioner really leaves a lot to be desired. This doctor simply works on his own terms with little or no regard for the code of ethics of the medical profession which he extends to each and every one of his patients. In an era where the health needs of humans are regarded as being very paramount, Dr. Jerry Tenenbaum sees it as a joke.
Anytime a patient makes a decision not to visit the consulting room of a particular doctor again, a very gloomy picture is painted of that doctor and the medical profession in general. It is an action which causes others with various medical conditions to lose interest in seeking for solutions to their problems. Doctors are expected to portray love, care and concern for a patient at all times as showing such emotions helps in relieving patients of their ailments. However, whilst some of these doctors are doing everything within their power to practice this, there are also those few ones like Dr. Jerry Tenenbaum who simply does the direct opposite. Something therefore has to be done about this doctor before he completely destroys the good name of all medical practitioners with his antics. This doctor appears to lack the basic professionalism of his peers.
