Iran has a duty to protect its territorial waters from enemies, and as a sovereign nation, it can carry out its own defensive strategies -- fearlessly. Iran has rejected the deliberate US war warning, essentially meant to sustain the Mideast region in tension by precipitating the nuclear issue; against blocking oil shipments through the strategic Strait of Hormuz, as a war of words between the two countries continues.

Iran’s uranium enrichment program is for civilian purposes, and it has the right to pursue its legitimate ambitions without caring for what the USA or Israel thinks. . The flow of goods through the strait is “vital to regional and global prosperity.” Iran said that if Iranian oil is banned, “then not a drop of oil will pass through the Strait of Hormuz.”

The UN, operating as a terrorist organization to protect Zionist nukes and crimes, help USA, UK and allies to advance their imperialist goals, has ratified four rounds of sanctions against Iran over its failure to halt uranium enrichment and co-operate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Israel, committing crimes by hiding behind the unilateral USA, has continued non-compliance with their international nuclear obligations. Many countries have nukes and continue manufacturing more and more high precision nukes. Diplomacy, not missile strikes, was the only way to solve the Iranian nuclear problem. Israeli President hawkish Shimon Peres said that an attack on Iran was becoming more likely. Israeli military minister and former terror PM Ehud Barak played down speculation that Israel intended to strike Iranian nuclear facilities.

Given Iran's past actions, closure of the Strait of Hormuz is a real possibility. If so, oil could possibly bypass the strait through a pipeline across the United Arab Emirates. But, it could take several weeks to work out any alternatives.

The US might as usual press for new economic sanctions against Iran, this time after the latest UN report on Iran's nuclear plans. Senior officials say they will try to "ratchet up the pressure" on Iran, making it more expensive to do business in that country, with the aim of hurting its economy. But what they are not doing is more important. The White House is not dusting off any military plans. They say there was "plenty of space" to build more pressure through sanctions.

Many strategic nuts in USA want more sanctions on Iran. This form of economic terrorism looks like an altogether safer bet than war. The behind-the-scenes pressure to isolate Iran economically seems designed to produce more widespread economic problems, and perhaps even to provoke worker unrest. In any case, Washington would be unlikely to secure agreement at the UN for the sort of measures it is pressing informally.

Russia with a large scale business in Iran, warned that military action against Iran would be a "very serious mistake fraught with unpredictable consequences". In the approach to an election year in USA, domestic politics do play. However, any foreign action would dominate Obama’s campaign, distract from what he wants to say on the US economy and undermine the support of his Democratic base. Hence many in the White House and Pentagon prefer to want a war with Iran.

Do the Americans want cash from Iran so that it would let Iranians live in peace. Obama is likely to share the view of experts who say an attack would not achieve any goals, and instead spiral out of control into a deadly regional war. Israel would be forced to leave Mideast. That would most likely plunge the US and Europe into a new recession.

Any case, unless entire world plus space is made nuke-free and secure of war threats by western terrocracies, Iran’s nuclear move cannot be questioned.

Nuclearism is extremely dangerous for the survival of humanity and Iran will have to abandon its nukes- whether ready and under making- in due time only as part of global denuclearization move. But, meanwhile, USA and its terror allies must forthwith stop intimidating in the internal affairs of Iran and put full stop questioning its legitimate right to nuclear energy.
