It appears that more and more options are starting to crop up for NBA players who are facing the potential cancellation of the 2011-2012 season.

The National Basketball League (NBL) of Canada had sent out an official press release on July 5 stating that the president of the league, Andre Levingston, was inviting NBA players to come to Canada if the NBA lockout continued into the regular season.

"What a great opportunity for NBA players," said Levingston according to the release. "NBL Canada can provide them with highly competitive play in professional arenas with great fan bases, while still being relatively close to home."

As many players throughout the NBA look into taking their talents overseas to play in Europe, Canada is doing what it can to entice players to join their cause.
