Ian Fraser, Executive Director of Run Ottawa has just released the following statement that Tamarack's Ottawa Race Weekend has been cancelled as a result of COVID-19 -

"Over the past few weeks, the team at Run Ottawa has been consulting regularly with sponsors, partners, contractors, volunteer coordinators, city officials and public health agencies. Due to the ongoing restrictions resulting from the outbreak of COVID-19, we will not be able to proceed with the 2020 edition of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend and the Scotiabank Ottawa Marathon on May 23 and 24."

Run Ottawa hopes for better days ahead in 2021.
 
"We look forward to putting on this event for you every year, so we share your disappointment at this outcome," elaborates Mr Fraser in his statement.
