Texas Transgender Nondiscrimination Summit kicks-off



HOUSTON, TEXAS — The 3rd Annual Texas Transgender Nondiscrimination Summit, August 12-13, 2011, will be held at the University of Houston, Department of English in the Roy G. Cullen Building.

The Summit has been approved for .975 Continuing Education Units based on 9.75 Clock Hours.  It is acceptable for Licensed Professional Counsellors and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers.  All other disciplines should verify CEU acceptance with the licensing board.

Because of construction, the Summit leaders recommend everyone take the Cullen exit off of Interstate 45 and drive to entrance and parking lot 9C.  Signage will direct individual participants to the Summit.

The Summit committee in partnership with the Houston GLBT Community Center (501c3) and the Department of English at the University of Houston are proud to host this year’s Summit.
