On 13 October, planet Mars would once again become the centre of attention of UFO enthusiasts. According to an article published on British online news site Express.co.uk, some alien-life investigators affirmed to have discovered, in one of the photos send by NASA rover Curiosity, what they described as “a walled ruin”.

“Alien chasers are claiming to have found more evidence that an ancient civilisation once inhabited Mars amid claims they have found what appears to be ‘the ruins of a walled city’ on a peak on the Red Planet”, the news stated. “It is the second so-called discovery of a ‘walled ruin’ found in NASA images of Mars in the past week”, it continued.

YouTube user and UFO researcher Mister Enigma uploaded last week a video in which he shows a group of images of a group of building-like objects. “An alleged alien city has been discovered on the red planet Mars. But is it the real deal?” he wondered.

Renowned UFO investigator and blogger Scott C. Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily expressed his admiration by his fellow’s finding. “This is an important discovery by Mister Enigma of YouTube”, he said. “It is an ancient city in the far distant mountain top area”, he added.

In Mr Waring opinion, there is a logical explanation for the city’s location. “Cities on Earth were often built in higher locations like this too give the city and advantage if it were attacked.  It also gives such advantages as a better view, safe from floods, and all those approaching the city will see it from a distance making it intimidating”, he expressed.

However, he said, “they are an alien species and their reasoning and way of thing may be very different from our own”.

The blogger also affirmed to have discovered another city the week before, and commented that “in the last couple of years, the number of images showing alleged structures on the surface of the red planet has quadrupled”.  

“In fact, nearly every single image beamed back by NASA’s rovers on Mars seems to show at least one particular ‘object’ which appears to be artificially carved or created”, he explained.

ALIEN chasers are claiming to have found more evidence that an ancient civilisation once inhabited Mars amid claims they have found what appears to be "the ruins of a walled city" on a peak on the Red Planet.

It is the second so-called discovery of a "walled ruin" found in NASA images of Mars in the past week.

A video showing the "discovery" was uploaded to YouTube by paranormal channel Mister Enigma.

The channel said: "An alleged alien city has been discovered on the red planet Mars. But is it the real deal?"

It was branded "an important discovery" by fellow UFO seeker Scott C Waring.

He blogged: "This is an important discovery by Mister Enigma of YouTube.

"It is an ancient city in the far distant mountain top area.

"Cities on Earth were often built in higher locations like this too give the city and advantage if it were attacked.

"It also gives such advantages as a better view, safe from floods, and all those approaching the city will see it from a distance making it intimidating, but then again, they are an alien species and their reasoning and way of thing may be very different from our own."

So there appears no doubt in Mr Waring's mind that this is in fact the remains of an alien city, and not just a rocky formation.

But, it is worth bearing in mind that Mister Enigma features on a number of blacklists complied by UFO hoax buster websites, who say the channel knowingly broadcasts fake and misleading footage - something the channel denies.

Last Friday, Mr Waring blogged that he had identified another ruined city in images sent back by the NASA Curiosity Rover.

He blogged at the time: “In the last couple of years, the number of images showing alleged structures on the surface of the red planet have quadrupled.

“In fact, nearly every single image beamed back by NASA’s rovers on Mars seems to show at least one particular ‘object’ which appears to be artificially carved or created."

However, scientists say the reason for these finds is most likley to be Pareidolia.

Pareidolia is when the brain tricks the eyes into seeing familiar objects such as faces or animals in textures, patterns or clouds.

The latest discoveries are likely to be just more examples of this, but that has not stopped alien buffs getting excited.
