An alien object frightened a physics enthusiast in Vancouver on 3 July, 2017. This report has been obtained from a testimony included in the database of Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) published on 3 July, 2017.

The witness begins the report by telling us how he was researching about mass–energy equivalence and properties of light on Google at the time of the sighting.

" I was googling something about E = mc2 and why light has energy but no mass."

He says that he saw something outside the window on the 24th floor and that the object was floating there.

"I saw something outside window on 24th floor hovering. It was sort of floating there somewhat, it looked blurry or refracted."

He equates the movement of the UFO to that of rotating coin or ring.

"It could have also been the same kind of effect you see when you see a coin or ring rotating on a table... sort of fuzzy, blurry edges."

He then says that the alien object communicated with him telepathically and made him think.

"I feel like it made me think something if that makes sense. I can't really say what but I think it taught me something?"

The witness then says he got up to take a look at the alien object which he thought to be a drone at first. He also realizes that it was not a drone.

"I got up to go look at it because I thought it was a drone or a helicopter in the distance. It wasn't."

He tells us that the object quickly changed directions and disappeared after shooting downward.

"It quickly changed directions and then shot of downward and disappeared all together or out of view."

He describes being curious at first and then being frightened when he realized that the object was not a drone.

"I was curious as to what the object was. Then became a little frightened because it was not a drone or anything that I could discern."

The witness further says that the object was moving too fast and that he was confused when he was looking at it.

"It was moving too fast. The whole time I was looking at it I was extremely confused."

He finally tells us that the alien object was visible both across the skyline and building across the street and that it zipped downwards till it disappeared from view.

"I saw it against the skyline as well as against the building across the street which told me that whatever it was extremely close. It zipped downwards and out of the view port of my window."
