Canadian Hikers Spot Bright UFOs In Nanaimo River, British Columbia
Date: 19 October, 2019.
Place: Nanaimo, Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Just a few days ago, more specifically on 19 October, a very unusual incident occurred in the city of Nanaimo, British Columbia.
According to an anonymous report published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a couple of hikers who were camping near the Nanaimo River claimed to have seen a bright, star-like object hovering over the Canadian town.
“My friend and I were camping deep in the middle of the woods near Nanaimo River. […]Around 6 or 7 p.m. we noticed our first anomaly. At the time we didn't make much of it, it just seemed like a light (similar to an airplane or a star in the sky) rising from the tree line going upâ€, the witness said. “The only reason why I even noticed it was because the trajectory seemed weird, but all in all I gave it 5 seconds of my attention and resumed whatever we were doingâ€, he added.
However, hours later, another strange object appeared in the same area of the sky, which caught the attention of the Canadian hikers. “Later, around 9 or 9:30 p.m., I was observing the stars (as I always enjoy doing when I go camping), and maybe 10 or 15 minutes of gazing at the stars, I noticed a ‘star’ from the same area where we noticed the weird light from earlierâ€, the author of the report stated. “It was moving up, down, left and right in a small areaâ€, he continued.
“It seemed both close and far at times, but it never got bigger than twice the size of the biggest starâ€, the unnamed witness affirmed. “I asked my friend if I was going crazy or if he was seeing the same thing. We would stop moving to confirm that it [the UFO] was moving and not us. It would disappear behind tall trees and reappear but never move too farâ€, he described.
But, as if these sightings were not odd enough, minutes after the second object appeared a third one suddenly was spotted. “There was a third star that appeared (out of nowhere) a little higher and between both of the other previous two. Their locations formed somewhat of an obtuse triangleâ€, the Canadian hiker claimed. “Slowly, the third star started clearly drifting away from the other two, going higher until they formed somewhat of an Isosceles triangleâ€, he mentioned.
“I’m not trying to convince people that my experience was genuine, regardless of what people might think, I can't deny what I saw. All I want is to share my story and maybe, hopefully, somehow find answersâ€, the traveller asserted.
Draw your own conclusions…
