Western economic terrorism and Iran's Missiles

Energy security as well as security of a lawless Israel is the top most agenda of US policy makers, irrespective of which monkey in fine suit is the president of imperialist America. That is indeed the crude fate of humanity.

The US and its nuclear allies that have imposed an illegal nuclear power Israel in Mideast only to kill defenceless Palestinians and expand the illegal colony proliferation on Palestinian lands, want Zionist regime as the only exclusive nuclear power in Mideast and say Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons. Tehran insists its nuclear program is purely for peaceful purposes. Iran has maintained that it needs nuclear technology to generate electricity to meet growing domestic demand.

In order to make things easier for their spoiled protégé criminal Israel, America has been restraining the Arab nations, as well as Iran, threatening them with economic sanctions so that Israel is safe and these Muslim nations are weakened and they fall down.

Iranian nuclear move is not illegal. It was illegal when the USA began developing nukes and then experimenting with its nuclear power on Japanese people in order to twist the outcome of WW-II in its favour.

USA and its European allies have been misbehaving with Iran for quite some time, imposing sanctions on the people of Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran has successfully test-fired two more missiles on the final day of naval exercises in the Gulf. Iranian commander Mahmoud Mousavi was quoted as saying they fired a Ghader ground-to-ship cruise missile and a short-range Nasr anti-ship missile. A medium-range surface-to-air missile was successfully launched on last day of 2001.

Against the USA-UN-EU move to cripple its economy, Iran has announced closure of the Strait of Hormuz and also conducted 10 days of exercises near the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil passes. Tehran said on Jan 01 that "mock" exercises on shutting the strait had been carried out, although there was no intention of closing it.

Navy chief Habibollah Sayyari said no order was give for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. But we are prepared for various scenarios. Commodore Mousavi was quoted by Iranian state media that the Ghader missile, "built by Iranian experts", was "ultra-modern... with an integrated, ultra-precise radar whose range and intelligent anti-detection system have been improved over previous generations". He said the anti-ship missile, with a range of some 200km, "successfully hit its target and destroyed it".

An anti-radar medium-range missile, equipped with the "latest technology" and "intelligent systems", was successfully launched. The Nasr missile, capable of reaching targets up to 35km (22 miles) away, also successfully hit its target. A third surface-to-surface missile, Nour, would be tested later in the day. The missile arsenals of Iran include: Shahab-3b: 2,500km, Sajjil-1 and 2: 2,000km, Shahab-3a: 1,800km, Shahab-3: 1,300km, Shahab-2: 500km, Zelzal: up to 400km, Fateh: 170km, Tondar: 150km, etc.

The Iran military exercises come at a time of increased tensions between the West and Iran over its nuclear ambitions. Tehran reacted angrily last week to reports that Western nations were planning to impose further sanctions targeting Iran's oil and financial sectors. Iran threatened to shut the Strait of Hormuz, which links the Gulf and its oil-producing states to the Indian Ocean, although this was later played down by military chiefs.

Iran is using the Navy exercises to try to show that USA or Israel does not own the Gulf and it has the military capability to defend any threat to its territorial integrity, including sea waters. Iran opposes US dominance in Mideast. American strategic nuts say that Iran would not carry out its threat to shut the Strait of Hormuz as to do so would be considered too economically, politically and possibly militarily damaging for Tehran.

Iran is worried about the effect of sanctions on the lives of people, and hopes to show the world that it is still able to defend itself by a military force even without help from elsewhere.

That is Persia!
