Trayvon Martin rally takes-off in Washington DC







Hundreds of Protesters gathered at multiple locations around Washington DC on Saturday to voice their opposition to the not guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman case.

 

Protesters of every race and ethnicity rallied against racism, using their fists to show solidarity and their voices to demand for a movement, not a moment.

 

The group then marched up the U Street corridor, the same place riots happened in 1968 after Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered. RT Correspondent Meghan Lopez was at the rally and she tells us about the state of race relations in the video below.
