A Virginia woman and her daughter report watching a "huge, boomerang-shaped craft hovering above the road" as they drove under it, according to October 4, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The woman's husband filed the report with MUFON.

"They passed under it and still saw it through the rear window," the husband stated. "It had one giant, white light at each end of the 'V' and a glowing yellow light at the front of the 'V".'"

The woman immediately drove home, and the three family members returned to the area.

"They picked me up to go back and see it, but as we drove back about five minutes later it was gone."

The object was described.

"They said it was large, as if two 747s were hovering side-by-side. My daughter got a very clear view of the shape of the craft. My wife was driving, so she only saw the three lights and not the actual shape."
