Infiniti sales jump 24.2 per cent led by record February for Infiniti G line-up

MISSISSAUGA (CNW) - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) has announced its best February sales on record with a total of 6,342 units sold, an increase of 17.3 per cent over February 2011. Sales for the Nissan brand were 5,783 units, up 16.6 per cent while Infiniti sales grew by 24.2 per cent, with 559 units sold.

Rogue led Nissan sales again this month achieving a new February record with 1,191 units sold (up 54.7 per cent). Sales of Altima and Sentra rounded out the top three with 909 and 905 units sold, respectively, while sales of Maxima, Murano and Versa all jumped significantly in February (81.9, 39.6 and 26.6 per cent, respectively). Record months were also recorded for Frontier, Titan and GT-R this month.

Infiniti sales jumped 24.2 per cent in February with 559 units sold. The popular G line-up set a new sales record this month with 382 units sold, up 63.9 per cent over February 2011. The Infiniti EX is the next best seller in the line-up with 69 units sold.

"For the fourth month in a row we've set a new sales record and leading the way consistently has been the extremely popular Nissan Rogue," said Allen Childs, President of Nissan Canada Inc. "On the Infiniti side the G line-up set a new sales record this month and we anticipate the arrival of the all-new Infiniti JX this spring will add even more excitement to Infiniti showrooms across Canada."
