(Apt613.ca) -- Ottawa Fashion Week is almost upon us. The event is building on the success of the fall edition, its biggest yet. Spring fashion weeks are generally smaller in nature than their fall/winter counterparts, but I’m really excited to see the 17  designers showing at the Westin Hotel’s Governor General Ballroom. Designers like frAsh jewelry, DeMoyo, Montreal’s !Nu.I,  Jana Hanzel & Emilia Torabi and Rachel Sin return. Expect to find lots of elegant, ready to wear fashions from Amanda Emmanuel and Turbine with edgier streetwear from folks like Y!D.N.A COLLECTION. Folks that like shopping at Victoire will recognize Toronto’s Ella Peru. Drama queens will appreciate Helmer‘s flamboyant stylings. If you like free tickets, you’ll like Apt613.

The fifth anniversary season of Ottawa Fashion Week will be taking place from February 16th to 19th in the Governor General Ballroom at the Westin Hotel (11 Colonel By Drive. Tickets available here. OFW is also hosting a runway show, titled “Runway for a Better Way” in support of UNICEF on Sunday, February 19^th 2012   in the Confederation Ballroom at the Westin Hotel Ottawa.
