A live webcam from Mount Teide Volcano Observatory captured a disk-shaped unidentified flying object flying across Mount Teide, Tenerife province, Spain on 27 October 2012.

Although Mount Teide has been a UFO hotspot over the years, this record is a completely unexpected result of Mount Teide Volcano Observatory researchers, as this webcam is set up to monitor the Mount Teide volcanic activities.

The video, posted in UFO Sightings Daily on 30 October 2012, captured a very clear image of the UFO flying across the mountain. The video recording was started on October 26, 2012 at 8 am and ended on October 27 around 8 am.

It captured the whole view of Mount Teide.At the beginning, 8 am on October 26, hour after hour passed by without anything happening.  At around 3 am the next day, it looked like usual daily boring morning. But at 3:35 am, from the bottom side of Mount Teide, suddenly a disk-shaped object appeared, gently floating upwards. The camera captured the object for about one hour, before it went out of the still camera frame.

“The object was closely similar to a disk-shape ship. This unprecedented recording result has exactly emphasized the importance of keeping an eye on such webcams in any part of the world,” said Scott C. Waring, the founder of UFO Sightings Daily.

With its mountainous landscapes that look more like outer space than earth, Tenerife province, particularly Mount Teide area, has become a regular place for UFO sightings. Over the past couple of years, there have been many reports of unidentified lights sightings.

Especially in Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain.This mountain has a unique shape and surfaces, often associated with mars or moon surfaces. No wonder it is also a favorite place for UFO enthusiasts.

A lot of visitors from many countries come to Tenerife just to watch UFO’s. Even in the guide book for tourists, it is stated that “UFOs have been encountered several times in this area.” Not only UFOs, contact with alien life forms have also been reported.

Steven Andrews, who is an investigative researcher on UFO activity, documents that married couple claimed that they encountered a couple of tall long haired aliens.  This couple reportedly witnessed aliens who came out of their semi-spherical craft in January 1999.

These alien life forms reportedly took a stroll along the street for a couple minutes before they went back to their carrier. A famous journalist, PacoPadron, also wrote about his experience of UFO sightings and encounters in his book, Midnight Lights.

Apart from UFO sighting related matters, Tenerife indeed is a very ideal place for astronomy enthusiasts to do sky watching, because it has a very clear sky at night.
